3 day weekend coming up…

Preparing for a 3 day weekend for the first time in… man, I dunno. A very long time. Why? Because my brother and I won the contract to do Englewood Little League’s team and individual photos for this season! This is pretty huge, really. This could be a real chance to get our photo business off the ground.

In addition to that, we sponsored a team for further recognition, have a big banner we’re going to hang up this weekend and bought a nice strobe to help us along the way. I’m still working on finishing logistics (which includes setting up 70 spreadsheets…) and recruiting people to assist as temporary employees, but it should all pay off when it’s all said and done.

So I guess the whole 3 day weekend thing is just a bonus. I had to ask off for the day of course as, in support, there are no such things as holidays. I’ll take a proper vacation soon enough, but for now, this kinda works.
